LEGO Harry Potter : The Burrow Review

For Christmas I was lucky enough to receive the fantastically detailed Burrow.

I was incredible impressed by the fantastic design and appearance of this set and it was overall GREAT.

Here a pic.

This set included six minifigures and includes four exclusive figures. This is the first set to show the evil Bellatrix Lestrange and i think LEGO captured her wickedness perfectly. The other figures include Arthur Weasley (Another First) Molly Weasley,Harry Potter, Fenir Greyback and Ginny Weasley.

One of the many functions of this set was the Floo Fireplace , You insert the figure inside and turn the handle. BLAM! The figure has disappeared..

It also came with a catapult for the Death Eaters to fire at the Weasleys house (Not very Effective). And if you though the outside looked fantastic wait till you see the inside!

The inside features the famous Weasley kitchen and two bedrooms.
The kitchen is beautifully set out and even the Weasley family clock is included in there.
The 1st bedroom includes to bunk beds and on the top bunk there is a poster reading : The Chudley Cannons. The trunk next to the bed contains two socks and an owl is perched on top.
The 2nd bedroom includes one bed and is the least detailed of all the rooms....and thus my least favorite.

All and all i would give this set........

Playability : 7/10

Design : 9/10

Figures : 10/10

FANTASTIC!

LEGO Harry Potter : Hogwarts Castle Review

Hey Guys!
A couple of weeks ago i was lucky enough to purchase the LEGO Hogwarts Castle.
It is a highly detailed new addition to the LEGO Harry Potter collection and overall a great set!
So lets start off with the figures.
In this set you get 11 figures in all.
Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Albus Dumbledore, Argus Filch, Two Dementors, Severus Snape, Filius Flitwick, Professor Mcgonagall, And Lord Voldemort!

All the figures were highly detailed and great quality (as usual) And even Filch's cat had a FACE!
The whole set was massive in size and was highly detailed!
There were four different parts of the castle with different features inside.
The first side of the caste includes Albus Dumbledores office including the new sorting hat and the sword of Godric Gryffindor. Just below Dumbledores office is a set of stairs and a award won by James Potter.

In the next section at the very top is the owlery. Its pretty small and includes three owls.
Just under that is the Gryffindor common room.
Its pretty simple.... it just includes two chairs,a table and a fire place.
Sirius Blacks face pops out of the fire place like it did in Order of the Phoenix (although the sets are based of the Half Blood Prince)

Under that is the Slytherin common room. Same thing as the Gryffindor common room execept it comes with two snakes.

The next section I was really happy with as it came with a vanishing cabinet.
I was really impressed with the scaling of it and the design.

Im leaving the best till last:
THE GREAT HALL!

It really lives up to its name!
The hall is massive in size and includes so many elements it would take me a whole hour to write them all down!
I also really liked the two giant banners on the roof!
Although they were stickers you could hardly notice.

All and all I'd give this set a 8 out of 10!
GREAT PLAYABILITY!
GREAT SET!
GREAT FIGURES!

I definetly reccomend this set to any LEGO collector!

Lego Harry Potter : Diagon Alley?

The LEGO Harry Potter 2010 range is going extremely well! (With all of us gaining rare parts and all our favorite characters why wouldn't it be!)

But just as you think we have seen the last of the sets here comes this baby!

DIAGON ALLEY!
Set to be released in January 2011 this is a set you do not want to miss.

You can play out all the iconic scenes from all your favorite movies with the highly detailed Olivanders!

Be a dark wizard in Borgin and Burkes!

And reveal your wizarding fortune in Gringotts!

I am a huge potterfan but this set would be good for anyone.

Here's a link to the set.
