New and Improved Shuttle Expedition

LEGO has recently made an update on the "Shuttle Expedition" set which will be released in the coming months, the replacement for the #10231 "Shuttle Adventure" set, and explains reasons for the replacement and details on its many improvements.

Since it was released in 2010, Shuttle Adventure has become very popular! The model was originally designed for a 16+ audience, however LEGO has recently been informed by its customer call service that many younger are building and playing with the model. For this reason, the Direct team has decided to look at the model once more to see what changes could be made in order to provide a better play experience for a younger target audience.

"Shuttle Expedition" still looks very similar to "Shuttle Adventure", however its build is very different and features several improvements.

- The fuel tank has been reinforced with supports to strengthen the assembly.
- The landing gear is strengthened to function better across many different floor types.
- The Cargo doors can now be more rigorously opened and closed.
- The entire build has been reworked to limit opportunities for misplacing elements.
- Astronauts now have wigs in addition to their helmets (1 male, 1 female). Face prints are also different.
- The new set now has 1,230 bricks instead of 1,204.
- New Satellite can be securely positioned on the new mechanical arm.

10231 Shuttle Expedition has already gone on sale in LEGOLAND Billund and will soon be available across all LEGO brand retail stores and on LEGO.com.

New BrickArms Modern Combat 2.0

The new BrickArms Modern Combat 2.0 gun pack has been newly released, and BrickArms has really done some changes from their old Modern Combat Pack. This Modern Combat 2.0 pack has been redesigned into more modern and bigger set of guns. The guns that are included in this set are the following:

2 BLACK High Caliber Sniper Rifle (HCSR)
2 BLACK Precision Sniper Rifle (PSR)
	2 BLACK Combat PDW (CPDW)
	2 BLACK AC8
	2 BLACK Tactical PDW (TPDW)
	2 BLACK Assault Carbine (AC)
	2 BLACK Combat SMG (CSMG)

Personally I like this pack for the huge amount of guns, another reason is that it really brings more realistic terms because just buying this pack can make you a Lego armory.

	http://brickarms.com/toys/Weapons_Packs/Modern_Combat_Pack_v2.aspx

I give this pack a 9/10 for its great count of guns, which if you were wondering is 14 guns, but I take off a point because I was hoping for a new gun model to come out like an M4 or something.

NEW Atlantis sets!

Lets face it. LEGO Atlantis was one of the most popular LEGO themes in 2010 and one of the most amazing. One of the things i loved about the sets was the variety of creatures and molded heads....it immensely improved my collection of LEGO figures and pieces alike.

I was surfing LEGO.com as I usually do when I came across the Atlantis website. To my surprise i noticed they had added some new sets. Besides having the most amazing sea creatures that have ever been produced the sets themselves are amazing.

Heres a link to the new site.

Better look at the new Lego Minfigures series 4

Here is a better picture of the Lego series 4 minifigures! There will be 16 minifigures just like series 1, 2 and 3 and they are rumoured to be released in April of 2011

This series looks very promising as Lego is releasing many never before seen accessories like the Guitar, Paint set and hockey stick just to name a few.

The hockey player looks very well done as he comes with a brand new hockey stick, hockey gear, hockey helmet and what looks like a pair of minifgure skates.

My top 3 favorite are the Hockey Player, Rockstar, and musketeer!

Please tell me in a comment below what you 3 favorite Minifigures of Series 4 are!

Thanks guys, and a special message from all of the staff here at The Brick Update; Please click the advertisements! It will really help the site!

Lego Star Wars 2011 Summer Sets?

I have heard many rumors saying that Lego has announced the Lego star wars summer sets of 2011. I was not sure that these rumors are true, but I think I should share this information with the public.

LEGO 7956 Ewok Attack ($24.99 USD / $34.99 CAD)
LEGO 7957 Dathomir Speeder ($24.99 USD / $34.99 CAD)
LEGO 7959 Geonosian Starfighter ($29.99 USD / $39.99 CAD)
LEGO 7961 Sith Infiltrator ($49.99 USD / $69.99 CAD)
LEGO 7962 Podracer ($79.99 USD / $109.99 CAD)
LEGO 7964 Republic Frigate ($119.99 USD / $159.99 CAD)
LEGO 7965 Millennium Falcon ($139.99 USD / $174.99 CAD)

These are the sets and the possible prices they might be. I did not come up with the price values, I got them from a site called Toysnbrick.com. The person who told me about the sets is LMANPWNER or that is what he goes by on our website chat. Bellow you will see a picture of the old Ewok Attack. It was set 7139 and was available in 2002. The two sets are probably very similar and it is good to try to guess what it might look like.

There are no pictures yet, but I hope Lego will come out with some soon. If you want to learn more about these sets, this site will be the first place to look! Comment bellow on what you think the sets will contain (Figures, vehicles, etc.) This is NP9 signing out!

LEGO Pirates Of the Caribbean Video Game

It has become almost a yearly ritual for LEGO to release a video game.
Although most of us thought it had ended with LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 that is proved to be not true...What do you get if you shove one of the biggest movie franchises and turn it into a LEGO video game?

Well this picture proves the rumours and whispers of the new installment to the LEGO video game range.

Thats right People! LEGO PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN THE VIDEO GAME!
Apparently it will feature not only feature levels from the first three films but also the new release...Pirates Of The Caribbean : On Stranger Tides
The release date of this new game wil coincide with the new movie and quite possibly there will be sets released. Thanks to 09Webcam for informing us of this.

Also Coming soon is the LEGO Disney Cars Sets...Lets keep an eye out for them too!

Untill May of 2011 you will just have to wait......But we will keep you updated!

Lego Pharaoh's Quest Released!

Since me and my family went to New York for vacation this wee we decided to go to a Lego store in the city. We entered the Lego Store and I did my normal business getting some Lego. As I was about to leave I noticed that they were putting some new sets on a shelf. I investigated and found out that they were putting out sets from the Pharaoh's Quest series! I bought the two cheapest there, Scarab Attack and the Golden Staff Guardians. I was amazed and I was probably the first person to review it on YouTube (I did not have Internet when I got it so, I did not get to upload my reviews I made yet.) I was also amazed because we all thought that it was going to come out in 2011. See below for pictures and have a great day.
