Brickfilm Review: Legacy of Honour by EpicAnim8tor

EpicAnim8tor's latest brickfilm clearly shows a lot of promise, and Eli could well end up being a very successful member of the brickfilming community.

The plot is simple, Droids vs Clones! The animation throughout the film is pretty-much flawless, with hardly any camera movement. There could have been a couple more camera movements snuck in to give the battle a bit more fluidity, but that's a minor point.

The battle itself is quite impressive, with a couple of explosions and plenty of different shots to make it seem more exciting. There could have been some more laser emitters in there as there just didn't seem to be enough for the amount of droids there... Just something for Eli to improve on in future! The voice acting sounded a little boring, but again, that's just something to work on.

Although the relationship between the Clone and his commander wasn't very well-developed, the last couple of shots are very powerful indeed!

For some weird reason there is a lot of negativity in this review, when really I should be praising Eli on a fine brickfilm with some great animation. Eli also went for something a bit bolder than his previous film, so that's nice too!

Animation: 9/10
Effects: 6/10
Storyline: 6.5/10
Voices: 5.5/10
Overall: 7/10 A fine film, indeed.

Please keep up the good work!
