Today, many websites across the internet are protesting the SOPA (The Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (The Protect IP Act). Flikr and several other websites have given you and oppurtunity to "darken" or otherwise "not allow viewing of" your media.
The passing of these Acts would not on;y cripple the online community, but would also eliminate the cast majority of User-created content on the internet. In other words, this means no more gameplay or product videos and websites (LEGO-based, ect.), and definitely a large decrease in the availabiliy to download free music or view music videos. As a result of these very likely, and very real repercussions, I encourage you to protest these Acts to your will, but remember that if these are passed, you'll lose entertainment, quality time, and perhaps even sharing your hobbies.
